Addicted To Love

I'm both nervous and excited to share this next video. It's a dance that Brenna (also a teacher at the dance studio) and I choreographed for the show we had in March. I'm especially proud of what we put together in such a short amount of time (about two hours - not counting the run throughs of the full show). The song is a cover of Addicted to Love performed by Florence and the Machine. Our costumes paid homage to the original music video for the song by Robert Palmer - featuring his 'girls.' I hope you enjoy it!

Otter Obsessed

I'm in love with otters and I can't get enough! I'm not sure exactly how it snuck up on me, but over the last few months I've been drawn to all things otter. My love grew ten fold when we went to the Seattle Aquarium on New Year's day and experienced them first hand. They are just the cutest little creatures. They ate crab off of their bellies and then washed themselves when they were done. They scratched their little furry cheeks and our hearts just melted. If they haven't won you over yet then get this- They hold hands while they sleep so they don't drift away from each other. Cute overload right!?

Crafty Moving Pictures

For someone with a video editor for a fiance I sure don't have many videos up here on the blog! Now that Duncan has a new camera he's really excited to use I'm hoping to change that starting with this video from the Urban Craft Uprising show where we had a booth last week. As I mentioned before, my Grandma Dottie (yes she's half of the Vivi Dot name) came by to check out the event. It marked her first time seeing Vivi Dot in action so make sure to watch out for her special shout out in the video. I hope you like it as much as I do!

POOL Trade Show - February 2010

I'm back! Duncan and I made it through another round of wholesale madness in Las Vegas at the POOL trade show. I'm happy to report that it was an even bigger success than our first round back in August. Vivi Dot will be in more stores across the world very soon. More on that later, but for now please check out the awesome video Duncan put together highlighting the the new Spring/Summer line, the Vivi Dot booth and some of the fun we were able to have after the show was complete. Watch out for appearances by Neil Patrick Harris, Perez Hilton, Christina Hendricks, the Cirque du Soleil Elvis performers and more.
