Nerdy Flower Love

A few years ago Duncan an I walked by a garage sale where a beaker was for sale. We were on our way to get coffee so we decided to get it on our way back. Unfortunately, it had already sold so my plans for adorably nerdy flower arrangements were foiled. I was on the hunt after that. I saw a few for sale at a mid century vintage store, but they were way more money than I wanted to spend. Being the fabulous fiance he is, Duncan surprised me with FIVE erlenmeyer flasks for Christmas. He's so good at remembering! I finally put them to use this weekend. It just took one Trader Joe's bouquet for $9.99 plus a $1.99 worth of eucalyptus and other filler. Nerdy Flower ArrangementOlive obviously loved the arrangements too! Pitchers are always nice. We have a pitcher and glass set from Mexico and all of the glasses broke. My hubby put the whole set in the truck with a bunch of dump stuff. The pitcher is still in tack! I dug them out to use in my garden. I have seedums growing out of them. I think pitchers work well for fresh cut flowers as well.
